Based on the belief that bowling is a sport that can benefit seniors of all ages and abilities, the Sun City Bowling Association (SCBA) was established to support and promote the sport of bowling for its members, guests, and the bowling community in Sun City, Arizona and surrounding areas.

To fulfill its Mission, the SCBA does the following:

​

• Organizes competitive tournaments each year and obtains sponsors to provide prizes.

• Hosts four bowling parties each year with color pin bowling and a live DJ.

• Organized and sponsors a scratch league to answer a need for middle to high average senior bowlers who still want to bowl competitively.

• Recognizes bowling honor scores with various awards throughout the season.

• Each month randomly draws a membership number for a cash prize and post on website and Bell and Lakeview Lanes.

• Prepares a monthly article for Desert Bowler to announce current activities and recognize member honor scores.

• Strives to maintain a positive bowling experience and atmosphere for its members through camaraderie, friendship, and connections with others in the Sun City bowling community.
